We have an extensive music library that spans all genres such as: Top-40, County, Rap, Oldies, Disco and R&B. We’ve got all the hits from the last 50 years, so chances are you are going to find the perfect song for you. Don’t worry, if you are a little hesitant about making a solo debut, grab your closest friends and do a group performance.

Our karaoke package has everything you need for a great time . . . the only thing missing is you! If our basic package doesn’t work for your event, or you are looking for something more extravagant, feel free to ask about our upgrades such as themes, lighting, props and more. Karaoke Parties – How do they Work?

NightHawk DJ Service does all the work. We bring song books listing all our song titles by name and artist. Your guests browse through the books, choose a song and use one of our request slips to write down the name of their selection. The slips are turned into the KJ (karaoke DJ) and one at a time (or one group at a time) your guests are called up onto the stage and introduced for their performance. Microphones are provided, the music starts and the song lyrics are displayed on color monitors located at the front of the stage. The monitors are strateigcally placed so the performers can read the lyrics but the audience is still able to watch the performance. Once the song is over, the KJ leads the applause and then brings the next singer or group to the stage.

If you run out of performers at your party, your KJ can switch to playing the party music of your choice but the chances of that are unlikely. NightHawk DJ Service is an expert at encouraging your group to get up and sing and will make sure that the volume, pitch and key are optimal for each performance. This makes it fun for everyone and will help make your guests sound like superstars.

What Exactly is Karaoke?:

Originating in Japan, karaoke basically means wordless music which refers to the background track played for each performer. Ironically, when thinking of karaoke, most people picture the people singing along to this music rather than the music itself. Karaoke is how you can sing along with Top 10 hits without having to compete with the professional singers who made the songs famous. And, unlike singing along with the radio, with karaoke the KJ is able to mix the audio to adjust the quality of the singing. What’s not to like about that?

Besides the joy of singing, karaoke offers unlimited entertainment options. Often found in restaurants and bars, karaoke sometimes requires liquid courage with the resulting show producing side splitting antics for the whole audience.
